Villa Description

Casa da Avo is a traditional Portuguese villa set in the countryside just 5km from the exclusive resorts, golf courses and superb beaches of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo, and just 3 km from the town of Almancil. Set in private walled gardens with lawns, a swimming pool (8m x 4m, depth 1m to 2m, with ladder), sun terraces, dining veranda and BBQ, the villa has been tastefully renovated and offers every comfort for guests. The rural nature of this house gives it great charm and character, yet with all amenities close to hand – there is even a fine restaurant approx. 300m away, whilst the nearest supermarket is 2 km. The thick stone walls help keep the house cool on hot summer days. Casa da Avozinha (PAL071) is next door, separated by a high wall with a lockable gate which can be opened if the two houses are booked together.

Two storeys. Lounge with basic satellite TV, separate dining room, country kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, one double and one twin bedroom sharing a bathroom. Upstairs is a further master twin with ensuite shower/WC and a flight of stairs leading to a rooftop solarium – ideal for sunbathing in Spring or Autumn. Safe and alarm.

Air conditioning and heating are available in all bedrooms - £120 per week, payable in advance to Hoseasons if required (must be pre-booked).

Cleaning provided three times a week, linen changed weekly. Thursday changeover (Saturday changeovers possible in other months, please phone to request this).
