Charente Maritime Charente Maritime Atlantic Coast France Complex of 12 Semi-detached houses in Messanges Images Messanges is a peaceful haven at the heart of a wonderful pine forest close to the Moliets golf course and a little further south from our other properties in Moliets. Huge beaches of white sand, forest, lakes, pedestrian footpaths and cycling trails make up this exceptional area. The properties are a short 2 km cycle from the beaches and the centre of the village of Messanges is 1 km where you will find shops and restaurants. Shops restaurants supermarkets banks and post office can be found just 3 km away in the nearby medieval town of Puy-L’Eveque on the banks of the river Lot. The ancient town of Cahors famous for its wine and medieval bridge is 35 km. Further north the famous Rocamadour 70 km is built into a spectacular cliff and also worth a visit.
