Inland, the sophisticated town of Saintes has boutiques and a wide range of restaurants, Roman ruins to visit, and the possibility of cruising on the River Charente, down to Cognac for example, for tasting the world famous brandy. In a peaceful hamlet, this typical Charentais farmhouse and barn have been renovated to create 3 spacious holiday homes, all of which have sheltered sun-trap areas. Renovated barn with pigeonnier, set in a small grassed garden, with its own pool 8 x 4 x 1-2m depth with security immersion alarm and small terrace area.
The interiors are light with modern pine furniture. Each property has a wood-burner and its own BBQ. An excellent location for a family holiday.

House is all on one level and has simply furnished sitting room with sofa, armchairs, feature bread oven and sliding doors to pool. Kitchen/dining area leading from sitting room has dishwasher, washing machine, table and chairs. Bed 1: double, high beamed ceiling, door to pool area. Bed 2: 2 singles. Bed 3: double plus single sofa bed, door to pool terrace. Large bathroom with twin basins, bath with showerhead. Sep WC. Cot, highchair, babygate and TV available, all on request.
