Ancient fishing port of Sete 40 min drive is a must for sea-food specialities and a meal on the quay of one of the canals. Easy motorway access - 1 to 2 hrs - to Avignon and Nîmes to the north and approx 1 hr south to the Spanish border. International airport Montpellier 50 km. This country house is set in a secluded and shaded position having an enclosed rough grass garden with trees lavender rose bushes children's swings and with a pine wood adjacent. Fruit in garden during summer - figs apples pears - help yourself according to season. Open terrace at front of house (unprotected drop of 70 cm) and paved shady terrace at rear. Lovely fenced pool 8 x 4 x 1.2-2.2m depth with security immersion alarm and water lapping over the edge into a small lower pool 20 cm deep. BBQ and table-tennis. Simply furnished throughout; pleasant sitting room with armchairs double sofa bed CD player TV/video piano (unlocked only on request) and sliding doors to open terrace. Dining room separated from kitchen by a tiled bar open fire. Kitchen area dishwasher microwave with grill door to walled courtyard. Bed 1: double. Bed 2: double doors to open terrace and garden. Bath/WC with washing machine. Open-tread wooden stairs (4 steps have no handrail) leads to Bed 3: 2 singles. Cot highchair and babygate on request.
