Situated on the outskirts of the charming village of Saint Ambroix, with restaurants, shops and supermarket and right on the edge of the National Park of Cévennes. An area famous for its hiking paths, canoeing down the Cèze river and many other outdoor activities such as visiting caves, fishing or walking. Situated 19 km from Barjac for local services, more restaurants and shops as well as numerous sporting activities such as tennis, horse riding and biking. The historical town of Uzès and its famous weekly market is also just 45 km drive and a day trip to Avignon is a must to visit the famous bridge and enticing shops. The coast is 120 km, International airport of Nîmes 75 km.

In the wing of a large tastefully restored mansion in the hills above Saint Ambroix. This house has been comfortably converted and is set in large grounds with rough grass and trees. Small terrace area with pergola for extra shade. Track leads from the house directly over railway line which passes directly below the terrace area. (Note this is a tiny local railway with one 2 carriage train per day that passes in a flash and should be viewed as an exciting event in the day rather than a negative point!) The banks down to the railway are fenced. Large private fenced swimming pool 11 x 5 x 0.95-1.55m depth with superb pool area and views over surrounding fields. BBQ. Discreet owners live in the other part of the property which does not overlook the clients’ wing.
