The famous brandy producing region of Cognac is only 25 kms away. The medieval town which bears the name of the region has attractive cobbled streets and elegant Renaissance facades. An array of guided tours are available which give an in-depth view of the copper stills and oak barrels in which the precious liquor improves. Set in a peaceful rural area in the depths of rolling countryside with views across the surrounding hill and 19th Century Château. The house is built from honey coloured stone typical of the region. Fully enclosed courtyard garden houses a round private pool 7 x 7 x 1.5m depth with security immersion alarm, grassed area and covered terraces. Table tennis, BBQ and pool house with WC and shower, fridge and washing machine.
