This traditional semi-detached farmhouse with its own private grounds and swimming pool (6m x 3m depth 1m - 2m with ladder) is situated on the top of a hill amid avocado and mango plantations with superb views over the hills and down to the coast. In the countryside just 3 km from the whitewashed village of Frigiliana it is also just 100m from Villa Galinero so the 2 houses can be booked together by larger parties. Villa Carmen has been lovingly and tastefully converted into a very pleasant and welcoming home. The owners have added carefully chosen antiques some of which are family heirlooms along with personally hand-crafted items which together make this house more than just a holiday home. There are several shops bars and restaurants in Frigiliana whilst the beaches and many amenities of Nerja are just 10-12 min drive away. Two storeys. Lounge/dining room with satellite TV CD and DVD also has attractive terracotta tiled floors original beamed ceilings (with ceiling fan) and a fireplace which add to the overall ambience of the living space. This leads out onto the swimming pool and the shaded BBQ area with panoramic mountain views. The open-plan kitchen has fridge/freezer hob/oven dishwasher and microwave and a washing machine is located in the separate shower/WC. On the first floor is a full bathroom double bedroom with ceiling fan one twin and a single bedroom. Weekly cleaning and linen change. Anyday arrivals between 22 March - 26 April 2008 Saturday changeovers from 03 May onwards..
