Beaune is a pretty town with a world famous 14th century “hospice” and colourful glazed rooftiles and an excellent choice of restaurants and shops. Beautiful countryside in the heart of Burgundy with chateaux, waterways and world famous wine villages, such as Nuits St Georges, Gevrey Chambertin, Meursault to name a few. Single storey villa on a residential hillside known locally as “La Montagne” above Beaune, set in large well maintained wooded grounds, with views to the rooftops of Beaune. Private south facing swimming pool 10 x 4 x 1.2-2m depth with retractable security cover which can be opened on warm days or left closed to keep the water warm in cooler weather. BBQ.

The interior has an easy layout with comfortable and unpretentious furnishings. Large sitting/dining room with tiled floors, leather sofa, open fire and satellite TV/DVD.
