The house is 15 minutes' drive from Sarlat, one of the Dordogne's most attractive and lively towns, and close to all the river-based and historic attractions of the valley: canoeing, castles, gardens and an endless choice of restaurants! It's only a short drive to the village of St Geniès with shops, restaurant, riding facilities and tennis courts, while Montignac, 8 km, offers more shops and bike hire. Nearest golf course Souillac, 20 km. International airport Bergerac: 70 km.

This very attractive property, on a quiet lane, is surrounded by its vast, beautifully kept gardens which lead to the owner’s woodlands where you are free to wander and enjoy the peace of the countryside. This ensemble of traditional limestone buildings have been lovingly converted without any loss of character. A long terrace at the back of the house gives lovely views across the huge expanse of lawn and fruit trees, to the woods beyond. The private pool 9 x 5 x 1.1-1.8m depth is in a sunny position to one side of the house with security alarm and fence. There is also an adjacent 'boules' area.
