Picturesque village of St Siffret with restaurant 10 min walk (2 min drive). Sandy beaches and wonderful seafood at Le Grau-du-Roi 88 km; enjoy the journey by driving through the Camargue with flamingos and herons. Medieval Uzés 5 km has large selection of shops, cafés and restaurants, supermarket, tennis, bike hire, golf and colourful Saturday market. St Quentin-la-Poterie 15 min drive, centre for potters and ceramic artists, has brightly coloured houses and excellent gallery. River Gardon 15 min drive for fishing (permit required). Canoeing in the Gorges du Gardon from Collias 10 km. Spectacular Roman aqueduct at Pont du Gard 12 km and Roman arena at Nîmes. International airport: Nîmes 25 km, Avignon for TGV station 40 km.
