El Varadero is a small development of recently built 3 bedroom, 2 storey semi- detached villas in a quiet residential area, each with their own private swimming pool (7m x 3m, depth 1m to 1.8m, with roman steps) and spacious sun terraces. They are tastefully and comfortably furnished in a bright modern style, and are very well equipped. Situated in the Las Coloradas area of Playa Blanca, El Varadero is just 800m from the beach, shops and restaurants, as well as the stylish marina of Puerto Rubicon. The traditional resort centre, harbour and main shopping area are just over 1 km away, so the villas are ideal for anyone who doesn’t want to use a car all the time. Each house is built on a fairly large plot, so has plenty of space and relative privacy from its neighbour. They are ideal for families looking for good value accommodation in an excellent location.

Playa Blanca has a very relaxed atmosphere and is less busy than Puerto del Carmen, but is very convenient for visiting Timanfaya National Park, the stunning Papagayo beach or even taking the short ferry trip to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura. The superb new marina of Puerto Rubicon is just 10 minutes' walk away and offers a large selection of cafes, bars and restaurants - it is actually livelier than the old (and nearer) resort centre, should you want this!
