The cottage is 15 minutes' drive from Sarlat, one of the Dordogne 's most attractive and lively towns, and close to all the river-based and historic attractions of the valley: canoeing, castles, gardens and an endless choice of restaurants! It's only a short drive to the village of St Geniès with shops, restaurant, riding facilities and tennis courts, while Montignac, 8 km, offers more shops and bike hire. Nearest golf course Souillac, 20 km. International airport Bergerac: 70 km.

This very attractive cottage that adjoins the owners house is on a quiet lane, surrounded by vast, beautifully kept gardens which lead to the owner’s woodlands where you are free to wander and enjoy the peace of the countryside. This traditional limestone cottage has been lovingly converted without any loss of character. A private terrace at the back gives lovely views across the huge expanse of lawn and fruit trees, to the woods beyond. The private pool 9 x 5 x 1.1-1.8m depth is in a sunny position to one side of the house with security alarm and fence. There is also an adjacent 'boules' area.

The door opens into a very light and spacious open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. The comfortable living area has TV, CD Player, wood burning stove and is open to the kitchen which is very well equipped with microwave, electric oven with 4 ring gas hob, dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with views over the pool and gardens and a shower/WC. Adults Only.
