Dagro is a small hamlet in the Malvaglia Valley. Malvaglia can be reached by car (40 minute drive) but you can also take the cable-lift. It is an ideal location for people who love nature and are looking for a peaceful and quiet area. In the valley you can find numerous, lovely walking trails. Enjoy a holiday here in a typical detached chalet. The chalet has a cosy and rustic atmosphere created by the use of lots of wood. It benefits from a location at 1300m altitude. The chalet has two 2-persons bedrooms and on the mezzanine (steap stairs) are 2 mattresses. The village Malvaglia is located in Ticino, which is the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. Bellinzona, the capital of Ticino, is ca. 44 km away. If you would like to visit a more crowded area for a day you can drive to the city of Lugano (2 hour drive) with its may shops and restaurants, or you could go for a swim in Lake Lugano or enjoy one of the other watersports facilities that Lake Lugano has to offer.
Five hundred kilometres of walking paths and numerous bike routes cross the Blenio valley. Along the valley road of Biasca over Acquarossa to Olivone you will find well maintained villages and art-historical treasures.
