The farm (200 m) is located in the small village of Szak?csi, situated in the centre of the Csereh?t, a region on the Slovakian border. It reminds of the Dordogne. The village has 150 inhabitants, a shop, two churches and a restaurant and is surrounded by forest and fields.
There is a 4000 m2 garden behind the farm, a roofed terrace of 20 m and a veranda. There is a private swimming pool too. The price includes a welcome package and a meal in a restaurant / catering on the 1st Sunday after arrival. You can use bicycles for free but they need to be booked per day with the manager. The central heating works with wood burning.
For a thermal pool you should go to Miskolc, at only 30 minutes by car from Szak?csi. You can hold conferences in the conference room only 1 km away. The conference room is located in a bio model farm.
You can langlauf from the house (80 days snow a year), but there are no winter sports facilities. You can ice skate on the fishing pond (2 km) and on the dam lake (25 km).

Tips from the owner1. In the village is a horse center. Trips on horseback for one or more days are possible, just as a lessons for beginning riders. Please ask the owner.
2. In the village lives a Dutch watercolor painter with his family. He is able to give -on request- introductory lessons (2,5 hours) or a week course (5x 2,5 hours). Please ask the owner.
