The chalet Rotfuchs is located at 1570m altitude in the fabulous mountain village Bellwald. You will have a great view on the Fiescherdal and Rhone valley from the chalet. The chalet is a former 400 year old stable which was transformed into a comfortable holiday home. It is located at ca. 20m from the street and is only accessible by walking on a narrow mountain path. It is lovely to take breakfast on the south facing terrace in the morning - in the fresh mountain air. You will find a wood stove in the living/dining room, around which you can warm up in winter and enjoy a tasty cheese fondue or raclette.
You will find a supermarket, a bakery, bank, ski school and a few restaurants at 10 minutes' walk. The region is beautiful and is perfect for winter and summer sports activities like (glacier)walking, hang-gliding, ski and langlauf. You can reach the ski lift on foot in 10 minutes or by ski bus (stop at 50m). The lift brings you to the pistes of the excellent ski area Bellwald. You will reach the lift of Riederalp/Bettmeralp (3100 hight) in appr. 10 minutes by car.
If your stay is longer than one week linen package will be charged on a weekly bases.
The ski bus stop is 50 meter further.

Tips from the owner*Our house is situated approximately 20 m. from the road, on the mountain. From the parking, you have to walk back untill you see a small path between two houses, on your left hand. Therefore, we advise you to bring suitcases instead of trunks.
*For opening the frontdoor, you have to turn the doorhandle upwards, than you can turn the key.
