The Tanya Gadacs holiday home is in a quiet farming village of around 60 houses. There is a large lawn and a small playground in front of the house. Fruit trees grow on a sloping hill behind the house. The village of Gadacs is in south-west Hungary and around 35 km south of Lake Balaton. The landscape is varied with sloping hills, woods and meadows. It is excellent for delightful walks and cycle trips. For those who enjoy painting, this is an ideal landscape to capture on canvas. You can enjoy fishing in the nearby lake. There are thermal baths and a swimming pool in Igal, 7 km away. Igal is good for shopping and you can enjoy a meal in one of the restaurants. The ancient small town of Kaposvar is 20 km away. It has interesting museums and a modern shopping centre.
